The Catholic Cathedral (Duomo)

This is a single-aisled church with six side chapels. Existing since the 1400s, and already the Catholic Cathedral by 1632, it is dedicated to Saints Giacomo and Cristoforo. The cathedral was drastically renovated in 1658. It was bombed in the Second World War, and its inside area destroyed. Restoration work lasted until 1970.
