Magical Lyrical Evenings of Carnival

It is a long-standing tradition, this Corfiot lyric art, intricately woven with the island’s history and the shaping of its cultural identity.

From this Carnival season onwards, opera once again crosses the threshold of the Historic Town Hall, the very building that once housed the Nobile Teatro di San Giacomo—the first theater in Southeastern Europe. It was here that the foundations were laid for the unique musical experience that, centuries later, continues to captivate both locals and visitors of Corfu.
