Greek Hero Extreme Trialthlon

Greek X Hero is an extreme triathlon for strong and exceptional athletes, who are ready to challenge themselves racing in the wild beauty of Corfu Island. It starts with the swimming from the Palace of Mon Repos, where Prince Philip Doukas of Edinburgh was born, along the coastline next to the Old Town and ending in the Old Fortress. From there the athletes continue on their bikes riding northeast with the beautiful view of Albania on the Mainland, passing the villa of Agnelli, and the old house of the Durrels. After reaching the northernmost tip of Greece continuing on the north-western side the Diapontian islands can be seen. The bike route passes through traditional small villages and is quite challenging with its continuous ups and downs. The last part is the trail run under the beautiful olive trees with panoramic views of the beautiful Paleokastritsa and finishes at the famous Angel’s Castle (Aggelokastro).
