Skripero Village
The village of Skripero is 18 km away from the city of Corfu. It is a traditional settlement and is located in the northwestern central part of Corfu.

As for the origin of the name, one opinion says that it comes from the Italian word “scrivero” which means write. Another view says that it comes from the Albanian word "skrapar" which means fortress.
